Frequently Asked Questions
Including the ones most tarot sites avoid answering honestly.
Is this a human psychic reading?
No, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Your card is drawn by the platform using secure randomness, and the interpretation is then generated by AI from your question, the card you actually drew and the reading structure we designed. There is no person named Amanda or Sophia sitting somewhere reading for you. What you get is a reading written around your specific situation rather than a generic card definition — which is the part that actually matters.
Is the free tarot reading really free?
Yes. One question, one card, a full personalized reading — no signup, no email, no credit card, no trial. You can use it as many times as you like. The only paid product on this site is The Unfiltered Reading, a $9 one-time three-question deep reading, and nothing about the free reading is held back to push you toward it.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no account, no login and no email gate on the free reading. For the paid reading you provide an email address only so your report can be delivered to you.
Can tarot tell me exactly what someone else is thinking?
No. This is the single most common thing people want from a reading, and it is the thing tarot genuinely cannot do. No card can access another person’s private thoughts, confirm whether they miss you, or establish what they will decide. What a reading can do is help you look at the dynamic you are experiencing, what you are focusing on, what you may be filling in yourself, and what is available to you regardless of their choices. That is a smaller promise and a far more useful one.
Will the reading predict my future?
It may explore symbolic directions and patterns — for example, where a situation appears to be heading if the current pattern continues — but it cannot guarantee future events, and we do not write as though it can. Any site promising certainty about your future is telling you what you want to hear.
What do I get for $9?
The Unfiltered Reading: you ask the three questions you cannot stop thinking about, each one receives its own intentional three-card spread, and then three further cards are drawn for the whole reading — the thread connecting your questions, what you may not be seeing, and your best next move. Ten to twelve cards in total. You receive one connected interpretation rather than three separate answers, plus pattern analysis, what is and is not in your control, better questions to ask, reflection prompts, a printable PDF and an optional audio summary. One payment. No subscription.
How is the paid reading different from the free one?
The free reading answers one question with one card. The paid reading answers three questions with ten to twelve cards, uses a different spread structure per question type, and — most importantly — looks for the pattern that runs across all three questions. That cross-question analysis is the part you cannot get by drawing three separate free cards, and it is usually where the reading becomes genuinely useful.
Are reversed cards used?
Yes, roughly a third of the time. A reversed card is not a bad omen here. It usually shifts the emphasis: the same theme is present but delayed, turned inward, blocked, or being reconsidered. We do not turn reversals into doom language.
How accurate is an AI tarot reading?
Accuracy is the wrong frame for tarot, whether a human or a machine writes it. The card is random; the value comes from what a symbolic prompt makes you notice about a situation you are already inside. Where AI genuinely helps is in reading your specific question closely and connecting several cards into one coherent line of thought, which is difficult to do well from a generic meanings list. Where it cannot help is in knowing anything factual about you or anyone else.
Can I ask the same question again tomorrow?
You can, and nothing stops you. It is worth knowing that repeatedly re-asking the same question is often a way of looking for certainty the cards cannot provide, and it tends to delay the decision rather than clarify it. A more useful rule: wait until something has actually changed in the situation, then ask again about the change.
Is my question private?
Yes. Your question is used to generate your reading and is not published, sold or attached to a public profile. We do not ask for your date of birth, your full name, your address, your phone number, or anything about the other person in your question. We deliberately collect as little as possible.
What if my question is about something serious?
Some questions should not get a tarot answer, and on this site they do not. Questions about medical facts, legal outcomes, market predictions, someone’s death, or whether you are being watched are handled with a straight answer about what tarot cannot do, plus a suggestion of a question it can genuinely help with. If someone is being hurt or is in danger, the reading stops and points to real support instead.
How many cards are in the deck?
All 78: the 22 Major Arcana and the 56 Minor Arcana across Cups, Wands, Swords and Pentacles, including the court cards. Every draw uses the full deck, and within a single reading the same card is never dealt twice.
Can I get a refund?
The Unfiltered Reading is a personalized digital product generated specifically for your three questions, so it cannot be resold or returned. If your reading fails to generate, or the file does not reach you, write to us and we will either regenerate it or refund you in full.
Do I need to know anything about tarot to use this?
No. You do not need to know a single card meaning. You write your question in ordinary language, choose or receive a card, and the reading explains what that card points to inside your specific situation. If you do want to learn the cards, every one of the 78 has its own page here.

What is your question about?
This changes how the card is read, not which card you get.
Is this about…
Optional — it takes one tap and sharpens the reading.
How would you like your card?
Both options draw from the full 78-card deck. Nothing about the reading changes.

What this card highlights
What to pay attention to
Your card was drawn first. The reading was then written from your question, the card you actually drew, and the relationship between them.
One card answered the surface question.
But your situation has more layers.
Reading what you wrote, your question appears to contain more than one thing at once:
- What’s really driving this situation
- What you may be overlooking
- The pattern that keeps repeating
- Where this is heading if nothing changes
- What could change the direction
- What is actually within your control
- What you should do next
- Your 3 most important questions, read together
